Due to an extremely high recent order volume at Amarr, select polyurethane-insulated products made at their Kansas plant are shipping at slightly extended lead times.
Affected products include:
- Commercial Amarr 2042, 2741, 2742, 2743, and 2747 models.
- Olympus OL3200 in True White, with Flush or Short panels only.
- Designer’s Choice DC3200 in True White, with Bead Board panel only.
- Olympus OL3138 in True White, with Flush or Short panels only.
- Designer’s Choice DC3138 in True White, with Bead Board panel only.
To restore normal lead time for these products, Amarr is taking the following measures:
- Orders with a large number, or high percentage, of affected products may not ship within published lead time. If lead time for an order extends more than a few days beyond published lead time, United Garage Door will contact you to discuss moving these sections to a later order, to allow the balance of the order to ship sooner.
- Amarr is working overtime schedules until 8-day lead time is restored.
- Stock orders for Door Centers have been removed from the production schedule. This may result in stock outages at Door Centers for affected products.
