We highly recommend contacting a professional installer for your garage door needs.
Garage Door Maintenance Tips
Safety beam sensors for garage door openers need to be aligned and kept clean for proper operation. If the sensors lights are flashing, the door will not go down. If they are not lit they may need to be replaced. Also check the wire connections to make sure they are secure.
Screw drive openers need to be lubricated with Aero Lubriplate at least twice a year. Do not apply lubricant if the temperature is below 32 degrees.
All garage door remotes have batteries and should be replaced once a year for maximum performance.
Lubricate rollers, hinges and all bearings in spring and fall with our Dupont ultra gel with teflon, contact us to purchase. Never put heavy grease in tracks.
- Do not attempt to adjust torsion spring tension. Springs are under extreme tension and can cause bodily harm.
- Do not attempt to remove bottom brackets where cables are attached. They are under extreme tension.
